SparkPeople, founded a few years ago, is one of the most influential and award winning health and fitness sites on the world wide web.  It is completely free, and offers advice for people looking for all sorts of health, fitness, and weight loss/gain advice.  They focus primarily on goal setting, and teaching small steps and encouragement, in contrast to many other diets of restriction and punishments.

Browsing their site, you can find thousands of motivational pages and stories - written by users and by staff alike.  The site is wonderful for tips and ideas and community support for whatever you want to do with your life.  If you're considering adding weight loss or a "healthier lifestyle" to your plate for the year, don't find a personal trainer - find your spark.
